We as an education profession can no longer continue to rely upon traditional pathways for preparing teachers if we are going to meet the increased need for teachers. Traditional pathways for preparing educators need to be supplemented by innovative programming. Our program allows para-professionals to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching without quitting their para job or leaving their home and community.
Chadron State will provide all of the course work and enrichment activities via online, face-to-face Zoom sessions and on-the-job experiential learning. CSC faculty and staff will advise, monitor, and support program participants. Students may move through the program at any rate – fast or slow. And, CSC boasts the lowest tuition rate of any college in Nebraska!
