We all know that paraeducators are the foundation to keeping our schools running, but we don’t often enough talk about how central their efforts are to maintaining compliance in some of the most complex areas of the law. Indeed, paraeducators are at the front lines of everything from implementing special education services, to maintaining confidentiality, to reporting abuse or harassment. This session will cover the most important aspects of education law that paraeducators should know to keep their schools and themselves clear of liability.
